Course fees
Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT which will be added at the applicable rate. Payment is required within 30 days of the invoice date. We reserve the right to exclude a delegate from the course if payment is not received on time. All payments must be made in pounds sterling.
In House Training
We will provide the training course, training materials, transport and accommodation for the tutor at locations within the UK. Courses at venues outside the UK will be subject to a separate agreement. The customer is responsible for providing a suitable training venue and any other associated costs such as travel, accommodation and refreshments for delegates attending the course. Cancellations or change of course dates for in house courses cannot be accepted less than 21 days before the start date of a course. Cancellation less than 21 days before the start date will incur the full cost of the course.
Substitutes
One substitution for the original nominee may be made any time unless registration has been completed for examination.
Transfers
If wishing to transfer to another course, requests must be received in writing stating the date and the name of the course you wish to transfer to. Course transfers incur charges based on the date of receipt by GBC of a written request as shown below and are subject to a minimum £30.00 administration fee. Bookings may only be transferred once.

Cancellations
If cancelling the course, requests must be received in writing. A credit note will be raised. A refund can be arranged on written request if the invoice has been paid in full and no other courses are pending. Course cancellations incur charges based on the date of receipt by GBC of a written request as shown below.
Please note that bookings for the same course may only be cancelled and re-booked once.

No refund will be given in the case of nominees who fail to attend without prior notice.
Certificates
Certificates are normally issued within 4 weeks following the completion of a training course, but may take longer. Certificates issued by another organisation, e.g. IEMA, are outside of our control and will be issued on receipt by us. No certificates will be issued until full payment has been received by us.
Change to or postponement of courses by Green Business Centre (GBC)
Course contents, prices and dates are to the best of our knowledge correct at the current time. It may be necessary for reasons beyond our control to change the content, timing or price of a course. GBC reserve the right to change the date of courses if the stated course is undersubscribed or there are other unforeseen circumstance and will transfer the delegate to another course free of charge or refund the course fee.
Cancellation of courses by GBC
In the event of a course being cancelled we will make a full refund on written request if the invoice has been paid in full, but hereby disclaim any further liability.
Data Protection
As an IEMA Training Centre delivering IEMA Certified and/or Approved courses, certain learner information is required to be submitted to IEMA who may use this data in the following ways:
Retain a record of the learner’s successful course completion for future reference and validation purposes if required
Undertake quality administration in relation to the course and/or qualification for which the learner is registered including providing the learner with a certificate on successful completion of the course and/or qualification
Contact the learner directly in relation to IEMA quality control purposes for the course that the learner is registered
Inform the learner of products or services offered by IEMA
Administer requests of reasonable adjustments where applicable
Carry out statistical analysis (on an anonymised basis) which may be carried out by IEMA or selected third parties; and:
To monitor (on an anonymised basis) equal opportunities relating to ethnicity or disability or other such monitoring purposes.
