Green Business Centre donates to Kids Cancer Charity

Staff at the Green Business Centre have made a donation to Kids Cancer Charity (also known as the Christian Lewis Trust).

The Cardiff and Swansea based charity works with families who have a child affected by cancer and provides compassionate care breaks and therapy.   The aim of the compassionate breaks is to provide memories intended to last for a lifetime.

Families can visit three specially chosen sites on the beautiful Welsh coastline, in luxuriously equipped mobile homes; an opportunity for the family to spend quality time together and enjoy a complimentary break away from the stresses of the illness.  The charity also enables families to have breaks at Disneyland Paris and Disney World Florida.  Kids Cancer charity also provides therapeutic services in areas of bereavement, befriending, play therapy and counselling.

Rose Davies, Appeals Officer at the charity told us “Despite being a small charity we work with over 2000 children a year and the donation from the Green Business Centre means the charity can arrange for a family to enjoy a respite break at one of three specially chosen caravan sites in west Wales. We really can’t thank you enough for your support, you’ve been amazing”.  For more information on the work of the Kids Cancer Charity visit their website at www.kidscancercharity.org
